Rather than being gently transitioned into this new day by the charming sound of the clock radio alarm at 6AM…I was met with a face full of vomit at 4:30 AM. Poor Jewels spent the wee hours of the morning projectile vomiting (all over me, her, and our house). Scary!!!! I whisked her off to the pedi at 8AM sharp. She has an ear infection and a stomach bug…boo. She got a shot of amoxicillian and we were sent packing. She seemed reletively cheery today though. Naturally, I’m terrified that she’s going to choke on her puke or something awful in the night, so let’s all say our prayers for a quick recovery!!!

It’s a very long story.
So I have this very long story that I could tell, but I’ll give you the short version. Some poser 8th graders from the Jr. High across the street set fire our garage (yes – really) yesterday while we were at work. During the fire department’s 3 alarm response they cut power to our house, which resulted in, among a lot of other things, the death of everything in our fridge and freezer. I had to catalog the contents so we can be reimbursed at some point. So, I’ll leave you with a list of the curious contents of our fridge and freezer.

Note to Self: Never, ever, ever put every single pacifier in the dishwasher at the same time. Especially, not 30 minutes before bed time.
